Anick Purmessur is a 33 year old Artist creating colourful, decorative original paintings in oils and acrylics. Some of these are for sale online on this site.

Anick paints dramatic moments from daily life in her series of London paintings, which always capture the city in the rain. She also constantly returns to sunnier, escapist, exotic subjects in her Mauritian and Mediterranean seascapes.

Constantly re-interpreting her style, Anick borrows from the impressionist, realist, abstract, decorative and even Japanese Sumi-e traditions of painting. Nevertheless, Anick Purmessur's original, affordable paintings have a unique style, at times photo realistic and at other times almost abstract.
